for Brassband (2008)/ CD                                                                                                                                                                                  The work was written on commission to the “Stiftung World Band Festival Luzern” for the competition “Swiss Open” in 2008. The title “Die Alpen” (The Alps) is a metaphor for our journey of life that leads us through the phases of life. The ‘Black Dyke Band’ recorded the piece on their C.D. “Die Alpen”.
